Reason 1: Because it’s all in the name of Simcha!

Camp only rolls around once a year, and Machane Simcha is only going to roll around once in a lifetime. For the last few months, your Madrichim have been planning for the Machane of the century, and this Monday, we’ll be heading up north to set up tents, dig trenches, build beits and have everything ready for when hordes of eager Chanichim descend on us.

We’ve planned peulot, we’ve written a menu, we’ve found a site, we’ve locked in camp parents, we’ve designed a gimmick; all we need now is for you to join us.

For those of you still asking “why?” we encourage you to take a trip down the last nine weeks. If the last few blog posts haven’t convinced you about how amazing everything will be, from the madrichim, to the Chanichim, from the challenges you’ll face, to the games you’ll play, the stories you’ll tell and the bungee cords you will (not) stretch, this little video might.

For those of you who still need that last little extra push, we want to make sure you’ve seen our camp vid. What other camp promises sunshine in your pockets, and good soul in your feet? What else could you possibly get up to this summer that includes drone footage, chultza reveals and encourages throwing away your phone and laptop in favour of frolicking in the outdoors? Where else will you find a more enthusiastic, dance-y, roll-y, climb-y group of Madrichim and Chanichim than at Machane Simcha 2017?

Friends, at Machane Simcha, “joy” is literally in the title, and there’s no doubt that camp will be filled with joy mamash!
